Participants will learn about international human rights in the UN and regional human rights system, human rights standards, procedures, institutions and mechanisms, and discuss human rights law and policy with selected experts and practioners. They will gain competences in analysing and understanding current human rights problems and the role of global and regional human rights institutions and human rights diplomacy. Furthermore, participants will learn about working practices and procedures of relevant institutions and will get the possibility to get first hand information about careers in the field of human rights.
