Neuerscheinung: Intersektionelle Benachteiligung und Diskriminierung

Interdisziplinäre Forschung zum Bereich der Mehrfachdiskriminierung ist im deutschen Sprachraum noch selten. Aktuelle empirische Ergebnisse zeigen, dass Mehrfachdiskriminierungen und strukturelle Benachteiligungen zu den Lebenserfahrungen von vielen Menschen gehören. Doch die bestehende Rechtslage in den deutschsprachigen Ländern Österreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz nimmt darauf noch nicht in adäquater Form Bezug. Rechtspraktikerinnen und Rechtspraktiker betonen die Probleme, die sich in der Behandlung von Fällen von mehrfacher Diskriminierung, insbesondere in Fällen von intersektioneller Diskriminierung, also mit interagierenden Motiven, ergeben.

 

Um den Rechtsschutz für betroffene Personen zu vergrößern, sind die interdisziplinäre Betrachtung des Themas und die gemeinsame Erarbeitung von Lösungsvorschlägen notwendig. Dieser Aufgabe widmet sich der Sammelband mit Beiträgen von namhaften Expertinnen und Experten aus den Bereichen der Sozialwissenschaft, der Rechtswissenschaft sowie der Rechtspraxis.
