International Women´s Day – Slam Included. Poets for Human Rights

DANKE!

Am 9. März 2015 fand im Verein „Die Brücke“ ein Benefiz Poetry Slam anlässlich des internationalen Frauentages statt.  300 Euro konnten zugunsten der NGO Babushka Adoption gesammelt werden, die sich der Unterstützung bedürftiger älterer Frauen in Kirgisistan widmet.

Mit berührenden, aufrüttelnden und pointierten Texten beleuchteten die Slammerinnen und Slammer die Thematik Gendergleichberechtigung aus verschiedensten Blickwinkeln. Mit einem kurzen Filmbeitrag wurde den Besucherinnen und Besuchern Kirgisistan und die Situation der Frauen in diesem zentralasiatischen Staat näher gebracht. Die Quintessenz dieses Beitrags, der vorgetragenen Texte und der gesamten Veranstaltung lautete: Jede und jeder Einzelne kann etwas verändern und einen positiven Beitrag zur Förderung der Geschlechtergleichberechtigung leisten.
