Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme on Human Rights, Democracy, Diversity, and Gender

Call for Applications Open!

Are you a PhD Student at Uni Graz? Does your research deal with human rights, democracy, diversity, and/or gender? If so, then join our Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme on Human Rights, Democracy, Diversity, and Gender.

In the Programme, faculty from all six faculties at the University of Graz provide a comprehensive overview of the content, theories, and methods of human rights research, exploring them from the perspective of differing academic disciplines, including law,  social and economic sciences, the humanities, theology, the natural sciences and educational sciences. Moreover, the Doctoral Programme serves as a platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge and offers an introduction into the world of science to early stage researchers.

A part of the blocked Doctoral Programme takes place as a PhD-workshop in Padova and Venice. Participants are given the opportunity to exchange their views with colleagues from other universities and to present their dissertation projects to a broad international audience at this workshops.
