The 14th World Human Rights Cities Forum was successfully held in Gwangju, South Korea, on 10 and 11 October 2024, and included a paper session on „Civic Space and Human Rights Cities“, jointly organised by the UNESCO Chair in Human Rights and Human Security, University of Graz, the Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Lund, the UNESCO Centre for the Promotion of Human Rights at the Local and Regional Levels, Graz, and the Chonnam University, Gwangju.
