The UNI-ETC and the Institute for Public International Law and International Relations are pleased to welcome Engelbert Theuermann to a brown bag lunch on the topic “Challenges of EU Human Rights Policies: Between Enlightenment and Self Interest”.

Engelbert Theuermann was the head of the EU Council Working Party on Human Rights (COHOM) until September 2015. Before he was the director of human rights in the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is one of the leading experts on human rights globally and in the EU. At the brown bag lunch, he will give insights into the present challenges of the EU Human Rights Policy.
