Visiting researchers
The Centre welcomes applications of Visiting Researchers (PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and senior academics) who undertake research in our areas of expertise: promotion and protection of human rights at the international, regional, national and local level; human rights education, human security; migration, asylum and refugee law; and international humanitarian law. Visiting Researchers should ideally stay between one and six months. While we cannot provide financial assistance and Visiting Researchers are expected to cover their travel and living costs, they will have access to the university's facilities. Those in need of financial assistance should consider applying through the fellowship programme of the Law Faculty (for senior and junior fellows). Visiting Researchers are expected to present their work, are encouraged to contribute to teaching and other activities and organise events, and may consider the Working Paper Series of the Law Faculty to publish their research. Please contact Dr. Lisa Heschl (lisa.heschl(at)uni-graz.at) for further inquries.
