On 16th May, participants of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme Human Rights, Democracy, Diversity, and Gender met with colleagues from the Human Rights Center Antonio Papisca of University of Padua at the premises of the Global Campus of Human Rights in the Monastery of San Nicolò in Venice, Lido. The PhD students presented their research and were engaged in fruitful discussions on a great variety of research topics, including statelessness in North Macedonia, the role of AI in reproductive medicine or community-based approaches to peacebuilding. After an intensive day, participants had the opportunity to exchange their experiences and ideas in a more informal setting during joint dinner.
