Wandertisch – eine Lesung von Auszügen aus Asylbescheiden

Worum geht es beim „Wandertisch“?

Bescheide in Asylverfahren werden dann geschrieben, wenn die Behörde ihrer Ansicht nach alle relevanten Informationen gesammelt hat um darüber zu entscheiden, ob der Asyl beantragenden Person ein Aufenthaltstitel in Österreich zu gewähren ist. Wir, die zahlreichen Mitarbeitenden und Freiwilligen in Rechtsberatungsstellen lesen ungläubig diese Bescheide und verzweifeln daran. Manchmal da bleibt auch nur das staunende Lachen gemeinsam mit unseren Klient*innen– ein Lachen der Verzweiflung, ein Lachen das vor dem Weinen kommt.

Asyl in Not veranstaltet jeden Monat einen Wandertisch, um Textstellen aus solchen Bescheiden öffentlich zu machen. Gelesen werden sie von Mitarbeiter*innen der Rechtsberatungsstelle von Asyl in Not. Im Anschluss gibt es Platz für Fragen.
