Gemeinsam mit SEKEM Österreich und der theologischen Fakultät der Universität Graz veranstaltet das Uni-ETC am 17. Oktober 2014 um 18:00 Uhr im HS 15.12 (Universitätsstraße 15, RESOWI-Zentrum Bauteil C, 1. Stock) einen Vortrag von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Mouhanad Khorchide mit dem Thema "Islam ist Barmherzigkeit".

 

 

 

 

Kurzvita des Vortragenden:

Mouhanad Khorchide,

  • geb. 1971 in Beirut;
  • 1999-2004 Studium der islamischen Theologie an der Al Ozaii-Imam-Fakultät für Islamische Studien im Libanon;
  • 2000-2007 Studium der Soziologie an der Universität Wien;
  • 2008 Promotion im Fach Religionssoziologie an der Universität Wien;
  • 2009-2010 Post-Doc am Institut für Soziologie in Wien;
  • seit 2010 Professor für Islamische Religionspädagogik am Zentrum für Islamische Theologie der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) Münster;
  • seit 2011 Koordinator des Graduiertenkollegs Islamische Theologie der Stiftung Mercator sowie Leiter des Zentrums für Islamische Theologie an der WWU Münster
  • seit 2013 Principle Investigator des Exzellenzclusters "Religion und Politik in den Kulturen der Vormoderne und Moderne" an der WWU Münster und Leiter des Projekts "Historisch kritischer Korankommentar unter Berücksichtigung von Aneignungs-, Transformations- und Abgrenzungsprozessen zwischen Islam und der jüdisch-christlichen Tradition" im Rahmen dieses Exzellenzclusters
