The simulation in English will take place at the ECtHR's premises in Strasbourg, France. Students at the University of Graz will also be intensively prepared for the competition through three English-language training seminars (18 ETCS in total).
In the winter semester, the focus will be on the academic basics for handling an ECtHR case and the preparations of the written statements. In the summer semester, students are prepared for the oral hearing. In addition to the possibility of winning an internship at the ECtHR, this competition and the related internships offer a unique opportunity to gain experience in human rights protection at the Council of Europe.
