Im Ö1 Mittagsjournal "Wissen Aktuell" am 25. Februrar spricht Gerd Oberleitner über die Bedeutung der Schaffung einer Menschenrechtskultur auf lokaler Ebene und was für eine Rolle das neue UNESCO-Zentrum zur Förderung der Menschenrechte in Gemeinden und Regionen dabei spielt. Des Weiteren soll in der Menschenrechtsstadt Graz anwendungsorientierte Menschenrechtspolitik umgesetzt werden, welche auch später als Vorbild für weitere Menschenrechtsstädte dienen kann.
