The Ceremony of the Awarding of Diplomas of the European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (E.MA, #GCEurope) for the academic year 2017/2018 and inauguration of the class of 2018/2019, was held at the beautiful Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venice on Sunday, 23 September 2017.
Sara Andreia Vassalo Abreu Vieitas de Amorim’s master thesis, entitled “Is Offshoring the Solution? The EU and the Extraterritorial Processing of Asylum Claims”, supervised in Graz by Dr. Lisa Heschl, was awarded best thesis. In her overall academic performance throughout the year in Venice and Graz, Sara was ranked 4th. Bernhard Wetschko, former assistant at the UNI-ETC , also attended E.MA in the academic year 2017/2018 and achieved the 10th rank for his overall academic performance in Venice and Nottingham. Congratulations! We are proud of you.
