Call for papers: summer workshop "Advancing Human Rights Education in Higher Education: Research, Practice, Impact"

The Global Campus is excited to share with you the attached Call for Papers for a summer workshop titled “Advancing Human Rights Education in Higher Education: Research, Practice, Impact” taking place on 3 and 4 July in Lido.

With EMA embarking on an in-depth review of its curriculum after more than 20 years of providing post-graduate human rights education, EMA seeks to use this opportunity to build a network of potential partners from within the network to create a research agenda for human rights higher education and human rights education as an academic discipline. The workshop is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Gerd Oberleitner from Graz University and Dr. Inge Zwart at Global Campus Europe.

The workshop is open for researchers and educators connected to EMA universities working on topics related to the call. We kindly ask you as EMA Director to also share this call with colleagues who might be interested in participating. We especially encourage applications from people and partner universities not currently engaged in the teaching schedule of the EMA programme and thus use this as an opportunity to strengthen ties within the EMA network. The attached call further introduces the workshop and outlines application information.

Find more information here.

Please direct any questions about the call or the workshop to Inge at inge.zwart(at)gchumanrights.org
