Lisa Heschl

Lisa Heschl is Deputy Director of the European Training and Research Centre for Human Rights and Democracy. She holds a PhD from the University of Graz and completed the European Master in Human Rights and Democratization (E.MA). In her research and teaching, she focuses on current issues of international refugee law and European asylum and migration policy as well as international and regional human rights developments. She was a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Deusto, Bilbao and regularly teaches in international master's programs in Oldenburg (European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations) and Sarajevo (European Regional Master's Programme in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe).

She is a member of the Styrian Monitoring Committee for the Implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
