In order to have an “Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop” with and at the University of Padova, students and their professors Wolfgang Benedek and Gerd Oberleitner made an excursion to Padova in the framework of the “Doctoral Programme: Human Rights, Democracy, Diversity and Gender”.
The workshop was addressed to doctoral students of all fields of study, who explore questions of human rights, democracy, diversity or gender in their dissertation project. 13 PhD students from different disciplines of the University of Graz and the University of Padova presented their dissertation projects. To exchange their views and perspectives, to receive feedback from their colleagues and professors and to find synergies between the research projects a discussion was held after each presentation.
