The Chonnam National University Center for Regional Development, the International Centre for the Promotion of Human Rights at the Local and Regional Levels under the auspices of UNESCO, and the UNESCO Chair in Human Rights and Human Security (University of Graz) co-host a special session ("Human Rights Paper Session II") as a part of the 12th World Human Rights Cities Forum (WHRCF), 10-13 October 2022, in Gwangju, Republic of Korea.
Abstract submissions on "Human Rights and Local Governments", including on the sub-topics of "Inclusion and the city", "Implementing human rights and the SDGs in the city", "Vulnerable groups and climate change-related human rights", "Building urban resilience through human rights", and "The social economy as a human rights leader" not exceeding 500 words are welcome until 8 August 2022. Final papers (at least 2,000 words) must be submitted until 4 October 2022.
