The European Training and Research Centre for Human Rights and Democracy at the University of Graz and the UNESCO Chair in Human Rights and Human Security, together with partner institutions worldwide, carry out research projects and individual research in international human rights law; human rights in international relations and international politics; migration, asylum and refugee law; human rights at the local level; human rights in Europe; human rights in Africa; children’s rights; human rights education; inclusion and democracy; freedom of expression; rule of law; minority rights; civil society; human security, international humanitarian law and humanitarian action. The Centre publishes the European Yearbook of Human Rights.
